ED Therapy Cards Course – A Practical Guide for Clinicians
Learn how to use the ED Recovery Therapy Cards confidently, safely, and developmentally in eating disorder treatment.
This self-paced training course is designed for clinicians who want to move beyond owning the ED Recovery Therapy Cards
to using them with clarity, confidence, and clinical intention.
The course supports thoughtful integration of the cards into assessment, engagement, and ongoing treatment particularly when working with adolescents and families where engagement can feel fragile or complex.

When Having the Cards Isn’t the Same as Feeling Confident Using Them
Many clinicians recognise this experience. You can see the value of the cards, but feel unsure where to begin. You may worry about:
introducing the cards too early or too late
using them in a way that feels unsafe or overwhelming
including the adolescent’s voice without undermining treatment
pacing psychological work alongside physical recovery
This course exists because uncertainty is not a sign of inexperience. It is a sign of thoughtful, ethical clinical practice.
What This Course Supports You To Do
