Maria and Linsey will be presenting at the Carers Day on
Addressing the psychological and physical needs of the
adolescent in treatment for AN.

SUMMARY: Recovery from an eating disorder is difficult
and adolescents cannot achieve this without parent/carer
support.  However, there has been limited psychological
education and individual support for the adolescent despite
parents asking for more.  This workshop will help the parents
understand their adolescent so they can support psychological
recovery in tandem with physical recovery, as well as helping
the adolescent utilize their own inner strengths.
